Today, at work, I scanned nearly 100 documents before I realized that I had scanned them all under the wrong file. I had to delete all the documents, unstaple all of them, and rescan them under the correct file. That's about 3 hours of my 10-hour shift I'll never get back. FML

That sucks, but I have to ask why you had to rescan everything? Wouldn't it have been easier to log into a computer and move/ rename the files?

Couldn't you just move the incorrect contents to the correct file?

Happens to the best of us. At least take it as a lesson learned and know you'll never make that mistake again!

Let's hope your boss doesn't find out and dock your pay or fire you.

Scan them under the right file in the first place. That life advice will be free of charge, use it well.

In a perfect world that's exactly what would have happened. People make mistakes.

At least it passes the time. I work 14 hour shifts and it's so slow sometimes

Just what I was thinking. I open at the restaurant I work at every day and sometimes we get absolutely no one for a full hour or we're so slow that I try to find anything to do, so I end up washing the same clean windows/mirrors again haha

I get having to restaple them all, that sucks but as for the scanning... couldn't you have just copied the files to the correct folder?
