U don't need a podiatrist, you can just first go to your family medicine doctor, he/she should know what to do! Besides, podiatrists are not MD's

They have DPM, still go to medical school, still learn the same stuff as MD they just get a different degree. They simply specialize in a specific field. I'd rather have a podiatrist with DPM after their name then MD any day. What you said is insulting to podiatrists everywhere.
