Governor or not, the law is the law. I'm sick of "important" people thinking that a high paycheck equals freedom from responsibility.
Just because he's the governor does not give him the right to park his car where ever he wants. You did the right thing.
Don't sweat it. Barney did the same thing on the Andy Griffith show without realizing it either. You'll be just fine.
You did the right thing. Being the governor doesn't mean he shouldn't get tickets like everyone else. Plus, you didn't even know it was his car.
You were just doing your job sweetie. You did nothing wrong. Your governor,however, may need to take a refresher course in Driver's Ed.
