Today, everyone in my house has a horrible stomach flu. My two toddler nephews don't understand that they need to throw up in the bathroom, so they just blow chunks everywhere. I have to clean it up, while trying not to do the same. FML

This is mine. They are two and three years old, and while I tried to give them little buckets, they didn't always make it in. It's my job to watch them because I am their full time live in nanny. My sister works third shift and her husband recently passed away, so it's down to me to take care of them. Everyone is over it now, but it was a pretty nasty couple of days, for sure.

Sounds like your two toddler nephews need to shipped back to their own homes!

That's delightful.. Hopefully you don't catch it. If they don't understand they need to go to the bathroom then you need to get them each a bucket!

Uh...why do YOU have to clean it up? They're your nephews, not your kids or even your brothers. Where are their parents? It makes me sick how people just ignore their kids anymore and shove them off onto others...

OP actually already answered this... she is #42. She is the live in nanny for her nephews while her sister works long hours, which her sister has had to do since her husband died. It sounds like she is helping her sister out tremendously, and we cannot judge here that her sister is "just ignoring" her kids....

My son had the same dose last week...not pretty. FYL

Why not give them a bucket or something the like next to their bed or couch? It's mean to make them walk to the toilet!

Aww, that sucks. Hope everyone feels better soon. Throwing up is the worst. /:

Even at 2, my kids knew better than throwing up outside the bathroom/bucket/sink or outside. I spanked their butts. If it was warm we were outside, if not, they were required to sit with a bowl or bucket, if they didn't make it in, they had to sit/sleep in the tub. (don't worry they had blankets and pillows) Never had an issue after that, and my house stayed clean. Check Mate!

Oh my god, I can't believe you have kids, you shouldn't have them. Seriously, punishing your kids for being sick? Making them sleep in the bathtub, whether they have blankets or not, that's downright abusive. They shouldn't be sleeping on a hard cramped surface ever, much less when they're under the weather. When you're sick your body is forcing you to expel a virus or harmful stuff, it's uncontrolled. Not to mention, they're 2, when they have to go, they have to go.

Dude they're toddlers you did the same thing once! Give them a break
