lol your friend is dumb. Shitty backfire. #143 you are a ******* idiot. Stop commenting please
WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE IF AFTER YOU SERAN WRAPPED HIS DOOR, AND INBETWEEN SETTING THE ALARM OFF, A REAL FIRE STARTED IN THE KITCHEN AND HE COULDN'T GET OUT! Today, my 'friend' seran wrapped my door then went to set the fire alarm off so I would run into the seran wrap. Instead, a fire broke out in the kitchen and I was safe in my room, but he has burns to his face. Jokes on him now. FML
You guys, he was sleeping. He was probably really disoriented and wasn't thinking properly, so of course he overreacted when he heard the smoke alarm. Honestly, if that happened to me, i probably would jump out the window if i could find no other escape (it was in his bedroom, i'm sure he doesn't have a second door), just to be safe. The smoke alarm in my house does go off when people cook sometimes, but if i can't physically go and check to make sure there's a fire somewhere or see if there is (don't forget the door was SERAN WRAPPED people, that can hide things at first), and i'm really groggy and disoriented and can't think logically past "fire. get out.", i'd rather be safe than sorry. It was really stupid and cruel for you to do that, OP.
Neither of them deserved it, but no one is groggy and disoriented when waking from a smoke detector and someone yelling "fire" unless they were heavily intoxicated the night before. Having actually been awakened by a fire, I can attest to this with full confidence. That shit will wake you right up. He should have checked for another exit, and seeing that the door was Saran-wrapped, should have realized that it would have /melted/ if there was a fire. =/
that is ******* funny i havent heard a funnier thing in such a long time bahaha
That's awful, but this is coming from a terrible insomniac that values sleep since it's so elusive to me. I'd be really pissed if someone did this. And #148 has got it right, if you wake up and are freaking out not thinking straight, you're going to go for the first thing that occurs to you to GET OUT. Survival instinct.. and if it had been a real fire he'd be lucky to escape with just a broken leg. YDI. He didn't.
his fault for jumping out the window before making sure there was actually a fire.
I don't really think it's a good idea to use safety tools for pranking, but the fault for breaking a leg lies squarely on the friend. Only an idiot would wake up to an alarm going off, no smoke, no indication of a fire at all, and jump out the window straight away without even checking the door, particularly if the window is so high you can break your leg jumping out of it.
