this is so fake, no one reacts that way when an alarm goes off, you check it out first, then freak out

ALSO i'm thinking maybe the door opened outward, thus making the saran wrap work. if i thought my building was on fire (which who knows if the apartment next to you has a fire, i wouldn't be checking doorknobs to make sure, i'd haul ass too. i agree w/ people who said what about the other people. think about it, what if you gave an old lady a heart attack because she couldn't get to the door to get out. terrible. i seriously hope this one is bs.

okay A... that was a dumb ass idiotic thing you could possibly do to your friend... you couldnt put idk hydrogene proxide in his shamppoo and condtioner and bleach his hair.. or do the classic toothpaste cookie..... that was a total idiot thing to do.... and your friend or ex friend has all rights to hate you and make your life hell for the rest of ya'lls friendship..... it sucks to be you but it ****** sucks to be him he has a broken leg and you for a friend..... and next april fools day if you need to play with srawn wrap wrap a uranl or toliet.... it's smarter and funnier and no one gets hurt...

Agree with #138. Bare in mind when you wake up you're pretty disorientated; if the first thing you think when you wake up is "Fire" the panic button is pretty quick to go. FYL friends life, I hope your friendship is repairable.

in normal everyday society (not theoretical, like what some of you are basing that jumping out a window in response to a fire alarm is an ok response and not an exaggeration, but what actually happens in society) a fire alarm going off is pretty much analogous to a car alarm now i dont care who you are, where you are, or what you are doing if you hear a car alarm going off do you a) think "hey i should run and get to that car as fast as i can because it may be getting broken into" OR b) "WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE TURN THAT GODDAMN THING OFF" now im no expert but im pretty sure most of you will pick b) IT IS NOT a normal reaction to panic and jump out a window from hearing the fire alarm the normal reaction no matter what the circumstances is "why the F*CK is the alarm going off" and then act accordingly Heres a bit of advice that even animals know; where theres smoke theres fires. so no smoke generally means no fire. if your dumbass friend was smart enough to realize that he wouldnt have a broken leg now if there was smoke or some other things that point to a real fire then yes your friend had a reason to panic otherwise it was a good prank

oh my god really now... so let me see ... you wrapped his door with a clear plastic... assuming he would run into it upon hearing a fire alarm... who wakes up to a fire alarm and sees presumably a non smoky what ever room with his door in theory open... if not open then you cant reach the door knob anyways... because theres this clear plastic over it... or maybe he saw that the doorway was unusually shiny and decided screw that i'll take my chances with the ground... either way i place the fail on the pranked
