Sorry, OP. Divorce is rough no matter what the circumstances surrounding it. My parents had a fairly amicable divorce and it was still hard to deal with. Just know that things feel more "normal" (as normal as they can in the circumstances) as the months and years go by.

That's something that you can't even joke about. Your parents are idiots.

At least you where not in the situation where neither parents fought for your custody.

I still resent my parents for getting divorced, but think how it's hard for them. One of them has to live with being said 'no' to.
