Today, I accidentally dropped my cigarette down my shirt. There are now two unsightly, painful burns right in the center of my chest. FML

You're complaining about burns on your chest, but not concerned for the damage that cigarette is doing on your lungs? YDI for inhaling fumes given off by burning toxins.

I hate it when people crucify others for smoking just because they've had some DARE classes in elementary school. Grow up. Smoking causes cancer -- WE ALL KNOW. It's safe to assume the OP chose to smoke while knowing that, so let's just move on. But YDI for being a klutz. Hopefully those burns heal with time.

I don't see your point. If OP chose a habit that would give her cancer, she deserves every injury associated with it. Hell, if she wrote an FML about being hit by a truck while smoking, I would say YDI for smoking.

Well...then you'd just be wrong. = P Would you say YDI for the OP holding a candle if the OP accidentally dropped a candle onto her chest and got burns from it? I find that doubtful, and highly illogical. It is because the OP dropped the cigarette that she got burns; it's not an inherent result from her smoking. My point was that commentators love showing off their attitude against smoking, and it's rather irrelevant. And kinda annoying en masse.

Dropping a candle and dropping a cigarette is very different. Dropping the candle will, for one, heal faster and not cause cancer. Cigarettes, on the other hand will cause cancer. Oh, and we all love to inhale toxic fumes. Am I right? No. I'm not. Stop complaining and live with it, Mrs.Chan.

@169 It's called context, and in the context of my reply to #115, they're one and the same. Learn it. And wtf. How would dropping a candle in your shirt heal faster? I'd imagine it'd just result in larger burns. Make some sense Whatever, I'm done procrastinating for a while.
