Today, I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet. I automatically dove my hand in and ran out of the stall with it. As I dried it, some girls were laughing. I assumed that they were laughing because my phone fell in the toilet. Then I noticed my pants were still down. FML

Today, I came home from work and had to pee so badly that I ran to the bathroom and ripped my pants down. My touch screen phone dropped from my pocket and started calling my boyfriend. Since I couldn't quite reach the phone, I left a message of me peeing on his cell. FML

Today, I took a phone call in the bathroom, since the rest of the house was too noisy. I sat down on the toilet and waited while they put me on hold. After a while, I must have forgotten the lid was down and my pants were still on, because I started peeing myself. FML

Today, I was checking my phone while using the toilet. In a distressing moment of my brain mixing up the signals to my hands, I dropped my phone into the bowl and pressed my thumb into the shitty paper to turn it off. FML

Today, while pooping at work, I was scrolling through social media. I dropped my phone in the toilet and the automatic flusher engaged, flushing my phone halfway into the pipes, which then flooded the toilet. I had to call maintenance and explain what happened to retrieve phone. FML

Today, I used the bathroom that the high school shares with elementary kids. As I was pulling my pants down, my phone fell out of my pocket into the other stall. As I was reaching for it, the little girl in the other stall took it and ran away. FML

Today, I was laughing at a story of a girl who had dropped her cellphone in a hottub and ruined it. As I was feeling pretty good about myself, I then realized that my cellphone was in the pocket of a sweater that I had just thrown in the washer 20 minutes prior. FML

It is always a bad idea to bring your phone into the bathroom with you. I ahve heard this story from about 12 different people, all of them had to get new phones (except one.) It is just Murphy's law. You could be as careful as possible with your phone, and the second you take it out of your pocket in the bathroom it is unnaturally gravitated towards the toilet.

@ everyone who's saying this is the OP's fault.. a) MAybe t was in their pants, or their purse, or somewhere, and it fell in... That happens sometimes, that's why it's here. b) if you suddenly have an adrenaline rush or you're really hyped or excited about something, you'll probably forget about your pants. It's natural, so unless you're not human, and you don't have human impulses, you don't really have any right to called them names. and it probably wasn't around her ankles.

@ spelling/#15: Um, are you just used to being sexually harassed yourself, and being called a dirty person in general. If so, then i feel bad for you, and hope you get over it. (Btw, a tip: Calling other people names YOU'VE been called isn't the way to get over somehting traumatic.) Usually, the first thought a human thinks if something gets dirty is to clean it with water, and THEn dry it. And what if she had already pissed in the toilet? I think i'd rather wash it a bit in water, or wet a towel to wipe of the pee. Unless you yourself are used to things smelling like people's groin/piss. If so, then, power to you...
