moms know best right ?!.. well they usually do. "FML moms" are crazy though.
You wouldn't mine being their friend:-)
Both of you mind* Correct?
Shyness can be addressed through therapy. Get some professional help. No matter how well intentioned, your mom's efforts will not address the real problem.

Awww, I'll be your friend! :)
I know how you feel OP. I am shy too but not as much as I used to be. It can all depend on a variety of factors. I for example, used to be bullied by the neighborhood kids (emotionally only though) and spent 2 years of my childhood inside on the computer. The only friends I had were at school until a new family moved next door and me and her siblings turned out to be really good friends. It's hard for someone that is shy to get out of their comfort zone, because we constantly think of how other strangers would judge us. It's because we aren't comfortable with ourselves, first. For me, anyway.
I'll be your friend!
Go to da club
It's okay I was so shy and friendless too but then I used my anxiety and fear and shyness as adrenalin to drive me to meet new people you can do the same thing just use your shyness to talk to people I hope that helped

Some of the best relationships start as friendships in the sandbox throwing sand in each other's faces and screaming "No, YOU are a poopyhead!" Don't forget to put on a clean diaper first, and bring an extra juice box for her. Chicks dig that. Good luck.
people are always friends with someone that has cool toys...
