Today, I asked a girl what time she'd like me to pick her up for our date tonight. She didn't know what I was talking about. It seems like, after months of sweaty palms, nervous smiles, and awkward sentences, I only dreamed she said yes to going out. FML

Yeah, I don't think that she will say yes now. Although you didn't mean it that way it has a creepy vibe.

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy

I have the same problem. It's like the brain got its signals crossed and thought a dream was a memory and stored the information wrong. I have this happen so often that I actually ask people if I have done certain things with them or if it was just a dream. I've only had this problem after being on an antidepressant for 5 years and having it mess my brain up real bad.

I have done the same thing!!! I was trying to figure out a different way of saying "hey, let's go out on a date" over and over in my head that I completely forgot to ask her out and then showed up at her house while she was having drunk sex right inside her house in view of the front door

His palms are sweaty Knees weak arms are heavy There's vomit on his sweater already Mom's spaghetti

How did you not know it was a dream? You had to wake up at some point and think "that was a good dream she said yes"

Hope you had a FANTASY-tic date

Just date her in your dreams. What could be so wrong with- Wait. Lots of things.

You were just asking in a way she couldn't say no

Play it off! Tell her you're going out.
