Today, I asked my dad to pick me up from school, he said he couldn't. Why? he was busy playing world of warcraft for the night. I got to walk the 3 hours home while my 49 year old dad played computer games. FML

This sounds like something my dad would do. Only instead of WOW, it would be Resident Evil 5.

Yeah, your dad is stupid, but people are missing the real angle here: fiscal sense! $15 a month for WoW, compared to the hundreds it takes to support you? That's just foolish investment management! You know, that's exactly the kind if flippant attitude toward value that put the US in such a bind. ... Oh my God. I can't believe I didn't see it before. OP, are you one of the Bush girls? Becuse I can totally see Dubya leading a raid with his pally. Crusader's Aura ftw!

where the hell do u go 2 school thats 3 hours from ur house??

I love how everyone assumes that when people play WoW they're playing with complete strangers, when most of the time they're playing with people they've known for years. If I had the choice of ditching 24 of my close friends for say, my drunken roomate who needs a ride home, I'd stick with my 24 FRIENDS depending on me, it's her own damn fault she couldn't find a ride (sound familiar?) and its less of a mess to take care of later. And #137, ZOMFG $15 a month for entertainment when he could be spending it SO MUCH BETTER! ONE MONTH of entertain ment for $0.50 a day is a ******* steal, or you could spend around $15 for a movie, only two hours of entertainment, with zero interaction with friends. And he probably spends enough time playing WoW that he doesn't want to go out and do more expensive forms of entertainment, thus spending even less money in turn. So yeah, he's paying hundreds for his daughter to be supported, let him spend a bit of his own ******* money on himself. I'm sure you indulge for yourself every once in a while, who the **** are you to say he can't? And OP, get a bike. Or take the ****** bus for christsake, you're dad's also the one paying for your public schooling, in turn paying for the buses that take you back home. It's your own damn fault if you missed them. You should consider it a luxury that your dad would even take you to and from school in the first place, you could say thats "foolish investment management" when gas prices are so high.

*Ahem.* AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. You are a complete ******* retard. I know it's real hard to put all them squiggly lines together in your head, but for ****'s sake, work on your reading comprehension. Also your sense of humor and priorities. Also your offensive and crippling body odor.

honestly, i have a hard time thinking this is true. How old are you? If your in HS, your instructors/teachers can't leave you there so you could of hitched a ride with one of them. On top of that, is your father the only person you know? Do not tell me there wasn't another soul you couldn't reach for a ride home.

LMFAO at #140. wowwwwwwww. okay, first, when I was in HS, there was NO ONE to monitor us, and didn't care if we got home safe or raped on the way. THE BOTTOMLINE is that regardless of the activity or action, it's a dick move for the dad to ignore his kid. and you're assuming that everything is paid for, it might not be. blahh this is just funny. not the OP's story, but that SO MANY PEOPLE defend wow. lmao.

LOL... I play wow, but I have to say ... That's ****** up.
