I think I see the problem here. You said your dad and your step-mom were going to this concert. Here's the thing, it sucks, but you can't expect your father to remember the day you were born. The man probably can't even remember your step-mom's birthday. If this was about your biological mom forgetting your birthday that would be different because you came out of her (and who can forget hours of labor?) Sorry it ruined your day though.
