one thing I found on pinterest that works really well for me is mixing about 3 tablespoons each of honey and lemon juice together and applying it to your face.. it worked quickly and made my face soft! good luck op and don't get discouraged(:
Use Burt's bees soap and toner
Find another doctor.
Dermatologists are a waste of money!!!! They don't even try to find out what's causing your acne, they just throw drugs at you and hope something works. You should try eliminating all dairy from your diet. Alot of people have a sensitivity to dairy and don't know it. My brother had horrible cystic acne all over, as soon as he cut out cheese and milk his skin cleared up. You would never know he had ever had acne now to look at him. Another thing to try is to eat mostly alkaline foods. That means lots and lots of leafy veggies, avocados, wheat grass, eggplant, squash, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, fresh ripe fruits and nuts like almonds. Diet is almost always the culprit as far as acne is concerned. You have nothing to lose by trying either of these things. It's less expensive than what you've been doing, and even if it doesn't work at least you'll be eating healthy things. That's usually the first step to clearer skin.
Actually, diet has not been proven to reduce acne (or the reverse). Diet plays a role in cysts and boils which are "acne-like" but not actually acne. Although it is true that dermatology can be a waste in some cases, but my dermatologist prescribed something for my acne that actually works, they told me just to get a Salicylic Acid based facial wash (Clearasil or the like) and to exfoliate 1-2 a week only.
One word: Acutane You will never have acne again take my word for it.
at least the doctor told you..they couldve easily prescribed you something else...they shouldve told you to begin with but still. natural remedies are almost always better than medicine. replies to #2 have some you could try
arracutane, just ask for it
Try accutane, it works wonders, it's expensive but I've never had such clear skin
Been there, sometimes you have to except it's just who you are

And basically rape your wallet!
Unfortunately that's the way some medical conditions work. We don't really understand them well, so our best hope is to throw the kitchen sink at them and hope something works. Now if only there were a prescription to cure stupidity.
