Today, I asked my mom if she could buy me some anti-nausea medicine. She said, "You just have a stomach ache. It's not like you're throwing up." As she said it, I threw up everything but my childhood memories. She still wouldn't get any medicine. FML

This isn't the first FML where a mother and/or father aren't concerned about their children's health. I don't understand parents like that. How has Child Protection Services not found these parents yet?

What the hell is wrong with you people that are encouraging OP to vomit on his mother?! The only thing that would do is to cause her to become sick from the horrendous stench and puke as well delaying the mother's efforts to help her child. By the way OTC anti-emetics are pretty much all taken orally, so what's the use of taking them if you can't even keep them down?

iv taken anti-nausia medicine when i was sick with pneumonia, its a wafer like thing and only takes about 3 minutes for it to start working

no such thing as anti-nausea medication otherwise I would have taken it in my first trimester. there is zofran, it stops the vomiting but not the nausea and it's not OTC, don't see how your mom could have helped here unless you had a sour stomach, get your own tums then.

What about Gravol then? It's an OTC that's used to prevent nausea and motion sickness.. Dimenhydrinate is an antiemetic which are used for women that get morning sickness.

Ewh I'm sorry OP. I hate being nauseated I would just rather throw up and get it over with. Also to number 77, there IS a nausea medication. I had the stomache bug for a week and was constantly nauseated and my dr. prescribed ondansetron...which is a generic brand idk for what. But it was specifically for nausea. And I hope you feel better op! At this point nausea medicine won't help. If you can't keep anything down maybe go to the dr.s :/

Trust me u gotta ht it out acid isn't good for your stomach and it can cause wholes in our stomach gotta do what ya gotta do listen to your mother!!!!

Ok well acid is naturally in your stomach already so getting rid of it would be very difficult. If you did find some way to get rid of all the acid in there, you would eventually die. Its what breaks down the food you eat so it can absorb the nutrients more efficiently.
