Find a specialty where you don't have to see people's innards. Talk to your school advisor; s/he may be able to help you work around your problem. Surgery may be out for you, but you may still be able to help people in another field.
Perhaps you could go into research rather than hands on medicine.
Go clinical instead of surgical
Not a waste. Change your intended specialty. You're still in Med school. That's why these rotations are for. There's also a test they'll give you to give you an idea of what specially you'll like the best.

I have a fear of that happening when I train to be a vet. I can't stand blood but apparently I'll get used of it...
You could always try different medical fields if you have trouble operating on people. I could never do it, that's for sure, so good job on the effort
