When I was in middle school, I was forced to play the role of Romeo. My teacher asked who wanted to be him just as I raised my hand to tell her someone had written in my book. When I informed her of someone writing in my book, I said all I wanted to do was tell you that someone took art classes in my book. Then I asked her if I still had to be Romeo because I never actually volunteered. She said no. I now hate the play Romeo and Juliet.

I've never heard of any auditions that announce the casting on a rolling basis. It's pretty much "Look at this completed cast list." I call fake.
