I have a fur coat. My sister in law got all kinds of upset, until I pointed out she was eating a burger and calling me a murderer. Then she shut up.

You definitely deserved that one. Why the **** would you buy REAL fur when there is artificial fur that not only looks the same, but is a whole lot cheaper and isn't the result of some poor animal's suffering. It's people like you that buy the fur that keep the sickening fur trade going. It's okay, I suppose, if you don't know that it's real, but you obviously did. Shame on you.

We are at the top of the food chain, we kill animals that are lower than us on the food chain, and they kill other animals that are lower than them. We need to eat, just like bears do. Are bears murderers for eating salmon? No. That's just how the world works. Live with it. Oh, and f*ck PETA. Tearing apart families by telling kids their parents are murderers for eating meat or wearing clothes, all for the sake of some animal that probably would have been killed by some other animal if whoever killed it hadn't gotten to it. If you're in PETA and you support that kind of sh*t, I hope all of your family members denounce you and you die a miserable loner with no friends.

I get what you're trying to say here, and yes, it is natural for animals to hunt other animals in order to stay alive. Keywords being HUNT and to STAY ALIVE. That is NOT what people do. You seem to be conveniently missing the fact that humans do not go out and hunt animals in the wild, and make a clean, quick kill in order to get food. No, what humans do is lock the animals up in tiny cages, torture them their whole (very short and painful) lives, pump them full of chemicals and hormones, and then kill them, frequently in very painful, drawn out ways. And half the time, that's not even done for food at all. So I'm sorry, but I just don't see any similarities between a bear fishing for salmon to stay alive and a human torturing and murdering a cow because they want a pretty leather jacket. When people go back to hunting animals in the wild because they're needed for food or other necessary things, as is normal and natural, then we can talk. In the meantime, STFU!

Omg THANK YOU #17!! It doesn't make a difference, we eat meat, why not wear fur? We kill animals for food, and the fur that's left of it we use if to make clothes. I mean, if I were killed for food, I wouldn't want my beautiful blue fur to go to waste... and I wouldn't be killed for food, we have cookies for that!!!! Cookie!

Oooookay #45, I don't think you know what you're talking about when you say we're at the top of the food chain. Yeah, we have the resources to eat animals who are below us "on the food chain" but it isn't natural what we do. I don't know about you, but I've never seen any other animals set up factories to get their meat. Humans treat animals like commodities rather than living things. Wearing fur = not cool.
