OP, if your BF is a vegetarian i can see the issue with that. however if he loves bacon and he loves you then it's no loss... although i'd have to agree with #4 and say you should have just bought bacon and saved the other $80...

Of course you thought it smelled absolutely amazing. You're forgetting you're talking about the smell of bacon here.

Vertiver sometimes smells like bacon to certain people because of the smokiness. You might be able to get him used to it a little at a time so he eventually starts picking up other aspects of the scent.

See if they'll give you store credit for a different perfume. They could always use your return as a sample. ***note, also perfumes sprayed directly on your skin can also change its smell. Try spraying it on your clothes instead and see if it makes it smell less bacony.

You deserve it for spending that much money on what's most likely only donkey piss and whale vomit. A pound of bacon is about 5$. Buy some and rub it all over.

He never said it smelt bad. Who knows, heat even like it! I wonder how you didn't notice the smell though.

I don't see the problem here. He just simply asked what smelt like it, not that he didn't like it.
