Today, I brought my dog to the vet for a routine surgery. The vets assured me that no dog had ever died during this procedure. Apparently my dog was the first. FML

@whatevs80: I feel your pain. I just recently changed my major from ADS (pre-vet) to looking for a school to become a vet-tech. Before I was in college, I worked for a vet clinic for a little over a year. It's so sad watching some of the clients die and you can't do anything about it. :(

Whoever said you deserved that is a total asshole! Absolutely no one deserves to have such a crucial part of their family die like that. I am so, so, so sorry about your loss. How old was your dog when this happened?
