Choose the wedding day you want and make everything to your and your fiancés liking. Definitely do not even let her know when you're going gown shopping. Send her an invitation and that's it.

Tell her no. It's as simple as that.

Tell her you're more than capable of picking your own dress since you're doing everything else yourself anyway. Or, you could use the short version of all that and just tell her to, "**** off!"

tell her that unless she has something helpful to say she can keep it to herself. planning a wedding is stressful enough without her criticizing.
