Today, I came home from work to find my five year old daughter drawing unicorns on the wall. The same wall that I had to repaint last week because it had puppies on it. FML

Who was supposed to be watching her? It's their fault.

agree with #74, YDI for having a kid and growing it badly, be more strict, and hahahaha in your face FYL

love the way there's like 16 year olds telling someone how to look after his kid.

Appreciatethe ******* art. Unicorns are awesome.

why would you paint puppies, just because they are glued to the wall doesn't mean they don't have feelings :(

You should paint the bottom half of the wall with the amazing paint that turns the wall into a chalkboard! This is what I plan to do when I have kids so they can draw on the walls and we'll both be happy about it.

1) Discipline your child. Five is old enough to understand consequences and good vs naughty behaviour. 2) Paint your walls with easy clean paint. Children will inevitably make a mess.

Thank you - I have all my jibs tailor-made.

but her an easel? water soluble markers? there are so many solutions to this zz

I have NEVER met a single child who drew on the walls and it wasn't the parents fault. Well, it can start to happen the first time around because the kid didn't know better, but that's it. Yet you say she repeatedly does it, whole walls of it. It's your fault. You and your wife. YDI. You're lucky she's still young and drawing on the walls only. You can still fix things before she's drugged out as a teen. And sure, little kids reading through the comments will whine and/or hit the thumbs down button here, but you can't keep a straight face and say that raising a child with no parenting is good for them. It's not possible, it simply isn't.

use painters tape to put paper on the walls, then let her have at it!!!!!!!!! =]
