Why would you sell someone's stuff to buy them a gift? What does that even accomplish? If they wanted something to the point of selling their own stuff they wouldn't ask you to do it for them... HOPEFULLY, she bought some badass games for the PS4... so you can cry while playing them remembering your childhood.
I'm soooo sorry op. Maybe she did not know what the $ or emotional value of them are. She may of thought she was doing something great for you. Her heart was in the right place that action realllly sucked. Most nongamers have no clue about gamers love of the cool old systems and games. Good luck recollecting them all op. Maybe you could include her in the collection so she understands what its about for you.
I just cried a little ,you poor soul
Murder her...
What did you do so wrong to deserve that?! In fairness, I'm sure it was meant as a kind gesture. Maybe she thought you might appreciate the PS4 more?
She probably meant well, but she should really have asked something along the lines of, "How much do you want a PS4?" FYL, OP. But, hey, at least there are emulators!
In other words, she bought YOU a PS4 with the money she got from selling YOUR vintage consoles.
Just keep telling yourself "at least she's pretty, at least she's pretty" as you try not to die from a heart attack...and then buy her something nice with the money you get from selling all of her shoes

Childhood Ruined... I'm so sorry
She probably (hopefully) had the best intentions, but that doesn't explain why she thought it was normal to sell someone else's possessions.
