Today, I came home to my boyfriend wearing one of my pads on his hand, because he didn't want to pay to go to the hospital for stitches. FML

Today, I visited the hospital with my boyfriend to have an injury checked. When the doctor removed the band-aid, my boyfriend started screaming and passed out. I had to get him out of the room using a wheelchair. The "injury" is a cut in his finger. FML

Today, I had a performance. I have to go bra-less to wear my gown and I didn't want any peek-a-boos. I asked my boyfriend to bring "large band-aids" without telling him why I needed them. He brought waterproof, top-notch tough ones. They're still stuck to me, and are not coming off anytime soon. FML

Today, I had to be go to the ER after I fell on a rake. After having stiches put in, my Mom wanted me to go to the store with her. My friend saw me at the store and thought it would be funny to rip off the band aid because she thought I was hiding a zit. She ripped out my stitches. FML

My mom once put tape over a cut on my sister's forehead so she wouldn't have to pay to get her stitches. I hope that makes you feel better. Oh, and as an embarrassing joke, buy him his own pads.

He won't have saved money, unless she is exagerating and he doesn't really need stitches, he will still need them if the cut is bad enough, the pad won't close the edges of the cut. All he's done is keep it clean and stem the bleeding until he can go get stitches. He's still going to have to pay for the stitches.
