Today, I came to the conclusion that you should always tell the truth. While I was busy reassuring her that the condom didn't break, she was telling me how it was okay because she was on the pill. According to the pregnancy test, we both lied. FML

The pill works like it's supposed to as long as you're taking it correctly. If you skip days frequently, then the chances of you becoming pregnant get higher. But the thing is, the girl may not have been lying, but there's no way for boyfriend to know unless he watches her take it every time she takes it. I'll tell you what though: You should NEVER EVER let your guard down when you have sex. The minute you say "Oh, what the hell!" and do things like continuing to have sex despite a broken condom, or despite not having protection at all, you're pretty much guaranteeing yourself to get pregnant. If you stay diligent and are on each other's asses about contraception all the time, you more than likely won't get pregnant.

You know even if you take the pills properly there's always a chance even a lil, liltle chance that you get pregnant somethimes it depends. For a simple example I know a girl who's pregnant (its the second time) because her pills doesn't really work on her so she stoped it. Of course they just lied to themself cause at the moment when they see it was broken they should stop and I don't know, go the pharmacy ? Anyway its not totaly their fault but now if she's really pregnant (cause the test can lie too !) they have to make a desicion. P.S : Abortion ( exept if they really, really can't keep and think its better than make a poor baby unhappy) is not a good solution

You know why I'm saying that ? Because yeah I'm not really, really for abortion and its not forbidden here where I live but everybody will told you its such a bad thing , you shouldn't and blah blah ... But I've seen girls here getting pregnant because they wanted a baby with " the men of their life " and when the baby's born the " big love of their life" dissapeared and so they have to take care of the baby alone and they just can't. They don't have the time, the money and the maturity. And i've heard, seen a lot of girls mistreting their child or even trying to kill them .... So for me if its just to play with your """"toy"""" 2 days then give up. You shouldn't keep him, and yeah I'm agree that adoption is an other option too. But as long as you think you can then its possible even if you know it'd be hard, otherwise don't try. That's my opinion.

If all women stopped aborting and instead just gave the children to adoption, the world would be even more over-populated than it is. It might seem cruel to look at it this way, but it's true. There are already too many people and not enough resources in this planet. Of course, that's not what OP's consideration should be based on at all.

Abortion doesn't technically make you unpregnant it pretty much just makes you the parents of a dead child. It is also pretty expensive.

Even if the condom DIDN'T break, and she was on the pill using it as directed, you can get pregnant. NOTHING IS 100% EXCEPT FOR ABSTINENCE.

If you are not ready to be parents, find a good couple who would like to adopt. But, as horrid as it makes me, I laughed a little over this. That's what you get when you let your hormones out do your cautionary instincts.
