Today, I carved a pumpkin for Halloween. I thought it would be cool to carve my name, and have it shine through onto the wall behind it. I figured that if I carved my name backwards then it would show up correct on the wall. My name's Lana and now my wall says Anal. FML

dude... that's not how statistics work... What are the odds of you winning the lottery... slim to none right? That doesn't mean we should assume that no one will ever win the lottery. SOMEONE wins everytime. Just your personal odds are low. So yeah, the odds that you pass someone on the street named Lana that carved a pumpkin with her name on it are low... but the odds of it having happened somewhere in the world are more than just possible... it's actually very probable... Just like we can assume that someone wins the lottery, even though it wasn't us.
