Borrow a thousand and say the same.
Tell him you're not his friend and you want your ******* cash. What a dick! Take him to court just for the hell of it.
If it's £5, I would let it slide, but £260! I will cut that bitch faced mofo!
I always pay my friends back in food. They're always quite happy to accept.
Never lend money that you're expecting to get back
A desire to not be like OP's "friend" is why I never accept money from friends unless I will have the money to pay them back within 3 months, or it is a gift and they don't expect/want me to pay them back.
Let this be your lesson - don't lend money. Also I wouldn't be that persons friend anymore - they don't have good values.
Ask him for £260 loan and use the same line on him.

When you get your money back I wouldn't talk to that "friend" again if I were you, OP.
Be careful who you loan money too... Some friends may seem sincere, but there are many selfish people out there. Still hope your friend decides to do the right thing OP!
