Today, I corrected my mom in front of our family while she was ragging on my 12 year old cousin who got a piercing. She said, "You don't understand you don't have kids, but on the other hand you probably never will!" I have Polycystic ovary syndrome, she is right, I probably never will. FML

Today, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and confided in my mom, after being told I would have trouble having kids. Five minutes later, I hear the whole family laughing about it downstairs. FML

Today, I told my mom I was thinking of having a baby. She told me it was a huge mistake because children cost a fortune, make you miserable, and if she'd had her chance again she would have gotten her tubes tied when she was 18 and saved herself the grief. Gee, thanks mom. FML

Today, my mom had to go off on my grandmother because I don’t have kids yet and she, "wants great grand babies before she dies." My grandmother was going to gift me a baby outfit for me to get another hint. I’m 25 and can’t conceive because of health issues. I may never have my own kids. She knows. FML

Today, my mom asked me out of the blue if I was ever going to consider getting married. It wasn't until after the conversation ended that I remembered my siblings are all either single like I am, or incapable of having children. I am my mother's last hope of becoming a grandma, and she reminds me all the time. FML

people can be stupid when there mad my sister pulled that one on me and I have different problem same result too much money to have kids if possible. my sister in law keeps asking when I will have some though I have told her I can't my moms in denial too. they say there is ways around it and I say yeah if you have the money and circle

No offense to you at all. I might not understand what you're going through, but I sympathize for you. I just don't like it when people are sad because they "can't have children" when, in reality, they can adopt one of the thousands of children around the world that don't have a parent or family member to take care of them. (Ack. Long sentence.) Just thought I'd get my opinion out there.

Idiot you can have kids when you have polycystic ovarian syndrome. Most people pos are put on a medicine metformin and a pregnant in a few months...don't try to play the pity card of not being able to have kids until you actually start trying, use all options and have then failed.

A friend of mine has POS, she came off the pill 3 months ago went to the DR last week friday who told her she would never be able to have children unless she had fertility treatment, went back on Monday to discover she's 6 weeks pregnant!
