Today, I corrected my mom in front of our family while she was ragging on my 12 year old cousin who got a piercing. She said, "You don't understand you don't have kids, but on the other hand you probably never will!" I have Polycystic ovary syndrome, she is right, I probably never will. FML

Today, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and confided in my mom, after being told I would have trouble having kids. Five minutes later, I hear the whole family laughing about it downstairs. FML

Today, I told my mom I was thinking of having a baby. She told me it was a huge mistake because children cost a fortune, make you miserable, and if she'd had her chance again she would have gotten her tubes tied when she was 18 and saved herself the grief. Gee, thanks mom. FML

Today, my mom had to go off on my grandmother because I don’t have kids yet and she, "wants great grand babies before she dies." My grandmother was going to gift me a baby outfit for me to get another hint. I’m 25 and can’t conceive because of health issues. I may never have my own kids. She knows. FML

Today, my mom asked me out of the blue if I was ever going to consider getting married. It wasn't until after the conversation ended that I remembered my siblings are all either single like I am, or incapable of having children. I am my mother's last hope of becoming a grandma, and she reminds me all the time. FML

I have PCOS too, and so does my cousin, but she just got pregnant! Take a medication, both of us are on Metformin. Ask your doctor about it. It's really helped me a lot. Good luck! I'm praying for you and all the women with PCOS in the world.

Glucophage is the same as the medicine I mentioned, Metformin. It really does work wonders.

Hey, there are things you can do to increase your fertility. I don't know if you have tried to have children yet or not, but don't give up just now. Many doctors do tell women with PCOS that they will never have children, but you just never know. Best of luck to you x
