Today, I corrected someone who spelled "learned" as "learnt" on my favorite forum. Nothing could've prepared me for the torrent of abuse that followed from the non-American members. Now I'm banned for "trolling," and all my 7,000+ posts since 2006 are gone forever. FML

I have more that 7,000+ posts. That's why I'm so nice and non-confrontational :D

I'd imagine the majority of those are gone anyway with the way they purge the old FMLs.

I think it's acceptable to use learnt...but people overall really need to learn to use better english

Oh, also, 7000 posts... Get a life. I'm sure their on sale at Walmart

First of all, don't judge whom you don't know. Second of all, she has one. It was on sale at Target.

They are both correct words, learned is past tense while learnt refers to past tense in the perfect tense. Derp.

Well, people like you that post comments like that just to get "upvotes" do get annoying. Probably a little harsh though.

*sigh* C'mere son, lemme learn ya sumthin. That there interweb? It's for them men in the city.

Were your posts in this online forum so interesting and important that deleting them will change the course of history? I doubt anyone in that forum will even notice the difference.

Where all your 7000 posts spent on correcting other people's mistakes?
