Today, I corrected someone who spelled "learned" as "learnt" on my favorite forum. Nothing could've prepared me for the torrent of abuse that followed from the non-American members. Now I'm banned for "trolling," and all my 7,000+ posts since 2006 are gone forever. FML

Tell Anonymus that forum is againts them :D

I hate to break it to you, but what Americans speak isn't English. You've dumbed down our language.

Have you been to England lately? What the British speak isn't English anymore either.

I'm pretty positive no one speaks proper English anymore. The Brits don't either. Or Australians. Or Canadians. So I really wouldn't blame the Americans who speak American English.

#299, you forgot the South Africans...

7,000++ posts on a site since 2006.... FYL

The OP is in the U.S., so the American thing to do would be to sue somebody.
