Today, I corrected someone who spelled "learned" as "learnt" on my favorite forum. Nothing could've prepared me for the torrent of abuse that followed from the non-American members. Now I'm banned for "trolling," and all my 7,000+ posts since 2006 are gone forever. FML

Haha, don't correct idiots. They hate that.

I guess it's better to not correct people on the interwebs.. Usually just causes pointless debates. Learn to just let it go... Still FYL.

Your life sucks, but be prepared for a battle. I have seen a lot of comments saying you were wrong to correct someone, but I think you have every right to. Nothing frosts my mug more than the little "alot" instead of a lot, or the "would of" instead of the correct "would have" or...one more here "I seen"...wtf were these people doing in school when they should have been learning.

I hope it's the evolutions.net forums! Jk :P

YDI for assuming your American way is the correct way... The continental US is not the center of the universe... On a side note it is shocking how many here comment about the OP and that "He" deserved it for correcting... Where the post clearly states that the OP is female...

I am sorry but YDI, for being a grammar nazi. Also 7000+ post. That is about 2-3 post a day. So YDI for having a forum take over your life.

2-3 post a day is not that many, how many FML comments do you make daily? OP never stated how long the post were, and personally it doesn't take me long to write a long post.
