Well of course anyone who is used to seeing you with so much pink and orange make up plastered all over your face will think you look ill if your face isn't as colorful! Natural beauty is the way to go anyway, you don't need make-up. It's just a sign of insecurity....

I feel so self conscious as it is, with or with out makeup. That must have felt horrible :(

The Barbie dolls from my old high school used to try this and they looked like crap! Don't worry about it, none of us are perfect :)

I never wore much makeup after my goth years (10-16) but without lipstick I looked almost near death! Very pale and sickly. So as a gift one birthday I got permanent makeup done. This means my lips had color tattooed on so they always look made up. I also have eyebrow done and a permanent black line on my eyelids. I never have to buy makeup again.

I'm not trying to be mean, but maybe you wore too much makeup before. Makeup has a way of making people look completely different if they use too much. Apparently that's a similar case with you.
