Today, I decided to dye my hair blue. The result is slightly different than I expected: my white bathroom is now blue, and so are my skin and nails. The only thing that isn't blue is my hair, which is now green. FML

You should have been more careful. Try to take some deep cleaning shampoo on to the part of the bathroom that are blue. And wash it off and remember to leave the blue hair dye in for a good while

Like people are say you need to bleach your hair 1st. Also it helps to mix some purple hair dye in with the blue, it really helps with it not turning green and honeslty i've used purple and teal in my hair and those 2 together turn a really pretty blue when mixed but thats just me and i've been using temp hair dye sense i was about 9 or 10 but its different for everyone. Maybe try a different brand cause it can make a difference.

It's cool, I tried adding blue to my hair two days ago and it turned green on me. Try Softscrub with Bleach in your bathroom, it works wonders.

I've dyed my hair blue and the tips turned green. You have to get your hair bleached to a really light blonde and it may burn/hurt your scalp but if you don't leave it on too long it won't hurt. Get a low-heat blow dryer and use it on ONLY your tips if you want them to be white also, since you don't have any heat there so the bleach won't make it "white" like your roots. Blue is touchy but once you get it right, It lasts for AWHILE, and if you want to try a really good long lasting blue, try Beyond The Zone blue, It worked best for me but it might not work for you. Sorry OP, There's always next time, it takes a few tries(and some help) to get it right :P Green is still nice though.

I tried to go blonde from dark brown once...ended up with bright orange hair like Leeloo in the 5th element. Had to go to a salon to get it fixed. Lesson learned...don't try to make any drastic changes without help or researching ahead of time.
