Why the fear OP? Bad 'Thriller' experience as a youngster?

I thought I was the only one ! I'm 16 and I'm afraid of him, and the fact he's dead makes it even worse I think. That's completely ridiculous, I know, but it's like having a fear of spiders, you're not in danger but you still feel like they're gonna kill you or something. If I was you I would've probably died of a heart attack seriously. I can't even see a picture of him without freaking out and feel like I'm gonna cry. When he died I was 11 and my first thought was "he's gonna haunt me" lol. And they talked so much about him on TV and it was soooo hard, I was scared constantly. I can't watch Thriller too, I was like 8 when I watched it for the first time and it ruined my childhood, I had nightmares for months. And I'm still as afraid as I used to be, if I watch like the first seconds I start to shake hard and I can even cry (before it gets scary, I'm already scared as ****, I just can't do it). I love horror movies and my favorites films are about vampires, werewolves and zombies so that's pretty ironic.

I thought i was the only one, asif! Am 19 nearly 20 and am scared of him and have done since i was about 6, because of thriller and his forever changing face! His face is sooo scary!!! I would LOVE to be able to get over the fear! It got even worse when he passed, god knows why though:/ HELP ME!!!

To the people taking the piss, Stfu! So what if hes a legend, just a dead person or whatever, its normal to have a fear, people have fears of frogs, gna take piss outta them to? I have a fear of him, its his face! So don't tell someone to 'get over it' just because hes a person, a fears a fear!
