Today, I came home to find my mom in my apartment packing my things and crying. When she saw me, she threw her arms around me and explained through her tears that she caught my girlfriend cheating on me and that she was sorry. My girlfriend and I are in an open relationship. I had to explain that. FML

That is extremely ****** up. Sounds to me like she got together with you just so she could hook up with your dad. Sorry you have a lying cheating ex girlfriend as well as a dad who doesn't respect you. **** them Op. But yeah definitely could use a follow up on this one.

I don't think she got together with OP to get with the dad, I think the friend may be young and perhaps bisexual instead. You don't exactly have your life figured out by 16-18 (if this is HS..) and one of the top fantasies for teen girls is older men, especially teachers/friends dads. Sorry OP...

As the much older person I'd say the dad is more responsible here....much easier for a 40 year old to manipulate a 16 year old than the other way around.
