Today, I didn't wear my contacts. Determined to prove to my friends I didn't need them, I read all the signs in sight. I couldn't read a particular one, so I began to walk closer. Suddenly I fell on my face, bruising my cheekbone. The sign said: "Caution: Watch Your Step." FML

Today, I was walking down the street when I saw a friend I hadn't seen in years. I was so excited to catch up with her that I ran across the street without looking and almost got hit by a car. I ended up stumbling out of panic and landed on a pile of trash on the sidewalk. FML

Today, I walked into a glass door at a busy mall. Not only did I face-plant in front of a crowd, but I also left an almost perfect imprint of my face on the glass. FML

Today, I was walking down the street with my friend, one I walk down every day, and I saw a really cute guy nearby. I felt like I looked better than usual, so I turned my head to offer a smile, and walked right into a pole. The impact was strong enough to send me falling to the floor. FML

Today, I slipped on a wet floor at the supermarket and busted my nose. It wouldn't be as embarrassing if I hadn't missed the "CAUTION: WET FLOOR" sign that I'd put there myself just 30 minutes earlier. FML

4 is right - in a sense. Some people only need glasses for certain things, like reading fine print. I on the other hand can't see 5 inches in front of my face without my glasses

#2 - yeah they have been approving a lot of stupid ones lately That's why I wear glasses over contacts, cause they're so easy/quick to put on. I do hope you don't ever try to drive without contacts on #4 - if you're legally blind without glasses you SHOULD NOT be driving without them

haha. Okay first of all, how old are you that you get made fun of by your "friends" for wearing contacts/glasses..and second, did you think it was gonna make you look "cool" that you could see without them? I'd say someones attention starved..
