Today, I discovered that my freezer had died when I saw the contents oozing out the bottom. The now-full trash can won't be picked up for another 6 days, and the high temperatures are supposed to be in the 100s all week. FML

Today, while clearing out my kitchen, I discovered a Tupperware container that'd been forgotten for so long it'd developed its own ecosystem. When I opened it, a funky smell engulfed the kitchen, and I realized I had unintentionally created a new form of life. I promptly closed the container, then put it in the freezer in the hope of killing whatever it is. FML

I honestly don't see why people deserve this I mean what did OP do wrong he has it bad already.

Oh my gosh, that sucks! I'm sorry. I had a freezer/fridge die while I was on vacation once. Came back after 8 days away...I know the feels. Baking soda and vinegar to scrub the rotten fridge out!

Take it to your nearest dump place every town in Texad has one.

Time to rent a truck (if necessary, you could also borrow one or use your own if those options are available to you) and make a trip to the dump.

You can call your trash service for an early pickup, that usually costs extra though, but it could be worth it to you to be rid of it. Or just take it to the dump yourself, though here, that also costs money.

If you don't have a truck, get a friend who does and take it to the dump. Spend a couple bucks, don't deal with rancid trash for a week.

Buy a good trash can with a tight fitting lid and poor some bleach in the can, you'll be fine.

As an Australian I am very confused because 100 degrees would mean that you are dead

double bag it and find a commercial dumpster to throw it inrestaurant
