Today, I drove 45 minutes to take my full driver's test. At the end of the test, the instructor told me I'd done everything perfectly, but had failed before I left the parking lot. I didn't see the "one way" sign at the entrance. FML

When I did mine for the first time, the brakes failed on the driving school car and I was held accountable for it, thus failing the test.

How did you drive to take a drivers license test...

It says 'full driver's test'. OP has a learner's permit or something along those lines.

That's BS. They can't fail you from one mistake, it takes several, unless it is directly goign to harm someone, to fail you. Not to mention they are suppost to end the test IMEDIATLY following what they say will fail you. Sound slike you just got a bitch for an instructor. FYL

Actually, they can fail you for one error if it's a critical error. Missing a one-way sign would be one...

My brother failed his drivers test for speeding and my other brother failed because the computers froze.

One-way signs are important. I've seen too many idiots go the wrong way on one and it ends in disaster and chaos (because they are usually too stupid to then rectify the situation, and instead usually stand there screaming at everybody else). So yeah, not seeing a one-way sign is pretty damn important.

They usually tell you where to go...

I registered a massive pang of empathy when I read this. I too failed a driving test at the DMV on Market street in Greensboro - for missing that ******* one way sign. F OUR LIVES

always be aware of your surroundings op, that simple mistake could have cost you or someone else your life in a real life driving situation.
