Today, I drove six hours with a friend to see one of her favorite bands in concert. We were turned away at the door because the online site didn't say we had to be 21 to enter. I drove six hours back with nothing to show for it but an empty gas tank and useless tickets. FML

I don't know if you noticed, but OP specified that there was nothing about the age restriction on the website...

stuff like that you just have to look on the positive side. you got to hang out with a friend on a kind of mini-road trip?

should've at least sold the tickets before driving back... there's always someone waiting around to buy 'em

i know!!!! i was just about to say that

I don't want to be mean, but everyone knows too look into that stuff before buying tickets... Or at least you know now. Thankfully the drinking age in Canada (at the oldest) is 19. :)

That does suck, but really your own fault, you should have checked with the place of the show itself, called it or something. I agree with the others as well, scalping would have at least gotten you more money for gasoline.

Definitely should have sold the ticket.

dam does age really matter these days? i mean kids playing R rated games and poppin caps up everyone's asses in school you'd think no one would give a shit....much less a concert

um just stand in the parking lot and listen if it's outside
