Today, I felt frisky, so I did my hair and put on make-up and some lingerie. I walked into the living room, where my husband was playing a video game. He glanced up, said, "Oh, for fuck's sake." and made me wait nearly 15 minutes for him to reach a save-game point. FML

Today, I came home upset about the sexism in my work place. I just wanted to be alone, but my husband insisted we talk about it. I noticed he kept looking over and one of his hands was moving. He was playing video games the entire time I was spilling my guts. FML

do you need a save point when you can pause the game? hit start, the system goes to standby in a few, switch to the other joystick.

As a gamer girl; I can testify that there is this thing called a pause button in games. He should've used it. He was being a jerk. If it ever happens again go get into the comfy outfit he hates... You know which one... And stay in it! He owes you an apology.

Can you pause Call of Duty during a match? What about a raid in WoW or a game of League of Legends? OP says that her husband needed a save point, but that might just be her non-gamer lack of video game knowledge. Not every game has a pause function and if you're actually a gamer you should know that.

Plenty of online games are console games and if someone isn't a gamer they probably don't know the difference. If this were from a man's point of view, everyone would be on him for being a dick and not being able to wait. I don't think that finishing what you are doing and then having sex is a bad thing.

I don't care if I'm the main healer in a 40-man raid, I'll pull the plug and tell the guys my power went out later. I absolutely love video games, but I also know that beating that epic boss means a lot less to me than getting it on with my girl and letting her know how sexy I think she is.
