Today, I felt frisky, so I did my hair and put on make-up and some lingerie. I walked into the living room, where my husband was playing a video game. He glanced up, said, "Oh, for fuck's sake." and made me wait nearly 15 minutes for him to reach a save-game point. FML

Today, I came home upset about the sexism in my work place. I just wanted to be alone, but my husband insisted we talk about it. I noticed he kept looking over and one of his hands was moving. He was playing video games the entire time I was spilling my guts. FML

I was all for you up until you said "nearly 15 minutes." Really? Your life is so hard cause your husband made you wait a whole 15 minutes? Cry me a river. Sure, he was being somewhat insensitive. But by implying that you wanted him to drop everything immediately just cause you wanted him to shows that you are just as insensitive as he is. You deserve each other.

It seems like a pretty bad insult towards the wife, but looking at it from a gamers perspective, he probably doesn't get much attention from his wife like that when he's feeling interested, and then while hes busy, yes busy, games aren't just hobbies that can be thrown away, gamers care about the games they play, while he was in the middle of something she CHOSE THEN to come in and make him choose, so he probably muttered that as a oh really you're going to make me do this now when i'm in the middle of something, she probably wasn't being very considerate especially if she knew he was playing a game When you surprise your partner with something meant to be for them, you shouldn't spring it on them whenever you have time, you need to take their concerns into consideration as well, if you really wanted to be frisky with him you could have talked to him before you did all that, ask him to hang out with him after his game, we would have known that you wanted time with him and then it wouldn't have been such a big deal
