YDI for thinking lawyers are supposed to get a job right out of school... Life's tough. Get used to it, bitch!
She's a bitch because she wants to see her work pay off?
Did you go to some 3rd tier school? Most top tier schools I've looked at have like 95%+ job placement within 3 months of graduation (you can get hired before you pass the bar exam). But schools that are barely hanging on to their accreditation (e.g. Texas Southern) don't impress employers because they know it's easy to get in, and competition is so weak that "honors" don't mean much.
just the world we're living in, so put on your big girl (or boy) panties, everyones dealing with this.
lol
So what if you just graduated? You haven''t passed the bar. Now if you can pass the bar, instead of stopping in for a drink each time, you could become a lawyer (and then get drunk on your client's dime ;) )
Ugh, it irritates me that people are saying it is your fault for not finding a job before you graduate. The economy is insane, I went to top tier schools and graduated with a Masters, and it still took me 4 months to find a job. Just keep working on it. Also I'm in NM and my company is hiring, for a researcher, less than a JD but better than a Walmart greeter, but I don't want to post my info on this site. If you comment, I can send you my info.
Our Wal-Mart has a kiosk where you sit and fill it out on a computer in the store. So, yes, you CAN do it on site.
It sucks that you have to start at the way bottom but you'll get out of it soon! I hope you can find a better suited job for you soon, just need to be patient. Good luck :)

That really sucks. Damn the economy! I hope you find something better soon.
Yes, how DARE the OP expect a fair return on her investment in law school.
