Maybe you are not happy about it, but a job is a job and you will get paid for that. It's not that you will work there for the rest of your life (or maybe you will). While you are working you can search for another job at a BIG FIRM. Who asked you to apply at WalMart anyway? You did! So stop complaining.
I hear ya, I got my bachelors a few months ago and I recently filled out an application for the state fair (Oh yeah, I didn't get the job).FML
u ******* ass brain. who gives a shit. at least you have a ******* job. quit complaining.
Google your name and see what shows up. A lot of companies are using twitter and facebook to screen applicants. Pictures and stories about you (or someone with your name) can keep you from being hired.
I finished up my master's degree in January and I'm in the same boat. I've applied everywhere. No one wants to hire an MA for a crappy job though. Management doesn't want underlings who are smarter than they are. Bad for their job security. FYL for sure.
Ditto for me. I spent nearly $16,000 for grad school only to be rejected from every job I apply to because I'm overqualified. *sigh*.
Any work is noble. Times are tough. This will pass. Take the job and keep looking. Good luck!
Well said!
I have a degree, several years of experience in administration... and I got rejected from KFC for being 'overqualified'.

That really sucks. Damn the economy! I hope you find something better soon.
Yes, how DARE the OP expect a fair return on her investment in law school.
