My undergrad friends are making $20/hr. I think they need to revoke your honours.
OP, maybe something else is making them not hire you. Have a professional check over your resume, do a test interview with you, assess your wardrobe, check your references, everything a normal employer would do. Employers can be very picky these days, and if they think you're not dressed professionally enough, or if you have a strong non-foreign accent (southern, new york, etc.), or even if your briefcase is shoddy or your resume is not on the right paper, that can be enough for them to eliminate you. Also be sure that ANYTHING that comes up online in a Google search of your name is appropriate. If they find your MySpace full of pictures of you drunk or you tAlKiNg LiKe ThIS, boom, right to the bottom of the pile.
well that just sucks :/ FYL, good luck finding your own job, it can be hard in these times
Oh God, don't tell me this, I'm a 2L! lol... hopefully the economy picks up within the next 2 years.
Kindda hard to find a job as a lawyer if you haven't passed the bar yet. You might want to try working on that first.
No. No, it isn't. Most graduates of decent law schools have jobs lined up contingent on bar passage. It's tough to keep those jobs if you don't pass the bar, but it isn't tough to find them before you've passed it.
become a teacher... better than walmart
Noone is above the rules of the game.
