Today, I realized my morbidly obese, sweaty sibling is the source of a strange waft I've been smelling when I get home. He'll only shower once a week, so the apartment and furniture smell like sweat and sometimes poo, especially on hot days. I didn't notice until I went outside and stepped back in to follow my nose. FML

Today, my roommate found a solution to his awful body odor: bathing in vinegar. Now instead of smelling like a middle school locker room, the house smells like a chemical plant. I'm not sure which is worse. FML

Today, I finally found out what that weird smell in my apartment was. My ex-boyfriend had been breaking into my apartment and hiding rotting fruit all over the place. I found this out when a ceiling panel fell and a swarm of fruit flies attacked me. FML

Today, I was in class and I smelled what I thought was month-old trash coming from a student in front of me. I politely ignored the smell, only to realize a few hours later that the persistent smell wasn't coming from every student in my university, but was from my shoes. FML

Eww... I can relate. My roommate does not wash. She hasn't done laundry for the whole semester. And my room either always smells like straight rotting poop, or disgusting sweaty old feet that have also been rotting. I can't stand it. And she doesn't get the hint with my extra strength febreze bottles on the dresser and the 4 air fresheners going on in the room.... Which don't help at all. Nothing works on her smell. Her clothes, towel, everything. It's gross isn't it, OP?
