Today, I finally gave away all of the stuffed animals that I've been hoarding for years. Proud, I told my family. They congratulated me by buying me stuffed animals. FML

It would be better it they gave you back the exact same stuffed animals you just got rid of.

I'm 20 and still have quite a few stuffed animals. Most have happy memories attached. Don't feel bad, if they mean a lot to you don't feel that you have to give them up.

Sell them :) and you'll have an infinite goldmine, provided they give you stuffed animals every time you 'get rid' of them.

well i still have a very large stuffed racoon that i was given after i lost all my toys when the house burnt down (mind you i was 5 when it happened) but still they should have thought about what you said when you told them.

I wonder if that would work with beer. Give away empties, family celebrates by buying full bottle. Hmmm, gotta give that a try.

I still have tons of my stuffed animals and I'm almost 30. There's nothing wrong with keeping some around. The other half still buys me some too cause he knows I love them.
