what kind of creepy things did you write to them?
I can imagine how a fan letter written as an English assignment could come out sounding rather creepy. You probably don't really have much to say, but you're obligated to drag it out to a certain length. Then there's the fact it would have perfect spelling and grammar (or as close as you can), which would set it apart from most of the dross they probably get. So the net result is you get a two page letter explaining in meticulous detail how awesome their shoes are, and how you've been a fan for an exceptionally long time.
Liar. It is very difficult to get a restraining order against someone. You have to appear in court. You cannot just "find out" about it through a letter in the mail (unless you've been skipping court dates). The only exception, in most states, is that if it is believed you are an imminent risk of serious injury, they could get a temporary restraining order pending trial. That certainly can't happen as a result of a letter (unless it was a bomb threat).
Very much agree with the above poster. And for that matter, nothing that had been written to the standards that a school teacher upholds for an assignment would be so heinous that it'd actually call for a legitimate restraining order. It's not like you can include "I'm going to rape and kill you!" in your school paper.
D: holy shit what did you write!?
What on earth did you say?!

You probably shouldn't have detailed how you stand outside her bedroom window every night and touch yourself.
You were only supposed to write one, not a hundred.
