Today, I finally got everything in order to ask out the girl of my dreams. I bought her a gold necklace, engraved with our names, and with the date on the back. Everything was going great until she got sick and had to go home. Now I'm stuck with this necklace with the wrong date. FML

Pool that necklace. For like... a year. Then if you are still together, maybe it won't scare her away. Judging from what you wrote its the first date... you would freak her out with a gift like that on first date. Freak her straight out of your life forever.

wow.....you should have just gotten her flowers or some shit....save the engraved necklace for a one year anniversary or something. if i was the girl in that situation i wud have been creeped out and faked sick to get outta there.

you brought her a necklace with the date and your names on it and this is the first date i think its ok for you to get your date something LIKE flowers,chocolate or if you two been flirting for a while and you know that person like something that you know you have you can burn them a cd or something but a GOLD NECKLACE..wow and its the first date that seem very...ODD... and then she cancel or you got the date wrong you totally deserve this. shes not even your girlfriend yet AND YOU BUYING HER THINGS LIKE A NECKLACE..it should have been a candy necklace then...
