I hate ungrateful people. She's lucky she got a gift in the first place
I agree. take it back from her. I guess she never learned gratefulness.
OP's girlfriend doesn't deserve him. i say ditch the bitch
49, I usually don't go right to ditch the bitch, but in this case, exceptions can be made. You made it, "link by link", and she says it isn't unique enough, take it back, and hold onto it for the next woman who would actually appreciate it.
I wish my boyfriend would give me a handcrafted gift. I also wish I had a boyfriend... Ehhh :(
ditch her! ill have you ... What a thoughtful thing to do
Maybe the necklace wasn't particularly unique looking, and she assumed it was bought? Make sure your girlfriend knows how hard you worked on it, and hopefully she will be grateful. I'm not excusing her rudeness, just trying to explain it.
It might be unique in the hand-made original sense but necklaces in general are common gifts, and therefore, not unique. This lady seems high maintenance.
Amen
in other words RUN!
high maintenance is the nice way of saying witch*. *see rules about language
Well what do you expect him to give her? A tiger on a gold leash? She shouldn't make him give her first class items.
The best gifts always come from the heart OP. I'm sure it was beautiful, even though your gf wasn't greatful
Take the necklace back too.
lj
I hope you don't plan on giving that to a future girlfriend.
Dump her? Seriously? Just because of that? I wouldn't want to be your partner!
My boyfriend always gives me ugly jewelry that he made and I'll wear it until it breaks just because I love him.
Not entirely sure why this got down voted. I personally admire the fact she still wears it, even though its not necessarily attractive.
You are a keeper, my dear. You were raised right.
You know, you could probably make a little bit of jewelry with him and subtly suggest things to make his creations more attractive
Or take a class with him. Or go to an open studio. Couples who do fun things together and share each other's interests are strong and healthy couples. Generally.
your boyfriend is a lucky man.
Well ain't that sweet
Next time just get her something from the thrift store...
Or nothing at all
Next time, get her a cheap necklace made out of macaroni and then see what she says.
"Are you not entertained?!?"
ungrateful Bitch
